Free Piano and Violin Lessons

The First Baptist Church located at the corner of 8th and York Streets is offering free piano and violin lessons to anyone interested in learning to play these instruments.  Classes are offered every Tuesday from 3:30 to 5:30 at the church.  For more information call 261-3328.

 

K*CHIP:  Low Cost & Free Health Insurance

The Kentucky Children's Heath Insurance Program (K*CHIP) provides low cost or free health care coverage for children through the age of 18.  Eligibility requirements are based on family income.  A family of 4 can earn up to $37,340 per year and a family of 8 can earn up to $63,140.  K*CHIP covers health checkups, prescription medicines, immunizations, doctor visits, eye exams and glasses, hearing services, dental care, hospital care, mental health services and much more.  For more information, contact the NHS Youth Service Center or call:
